Puberty Info
The Miller Place School District historically presents two videos concerning puberty and body changes to 5th grade students. One video is meant to be presented to female students concerning only female body changes. The other video is meant to be presented to male students concerning only male body changes. To deliver students this important information and support parents in discussion this topic with their children, our Health teachers have organized a Frequently Asked Questions document for Boys and Girls and provided links to the videos which would have been shown in class.
It is suggested you preview the videos prior to watching them with your child, to ensure you are comfortable with the information which is discussed, they can be found at the links below. If you have any questions or concerns, please call Mr. Herrschaft, LADSBS Principal or Mr. Petrie, our Director of Athletics, Physical Education, Health and Intramurals for additional information.
